I am a bookworm for all practical purposes.I read anything and
everything in sight.I am listing here some of the stuff which I have read.I
will add more as I remember and as I read along.
-
Anna Karenina , Leo Tolstoy - I was in a daze for three days
after I finished reading this book. This masterpiece from Tolstoy through
the eyes of beautiful Anna explores the drama of power and passion .Tolstoy
expresses his views on life through the autobiographical character of Levin.
-
The Idiot ,Fyodor Dostoyevsky - Dostoyevsky's grasp on practical
psychology is amazing. He explains his conception of the ideal man as seen
through contemporary Russian intelligentsia.
-
We the Living,Ayn Rand - Her first novel and also the closest she
gets to Autobiography.I was in love with Kira, the heroine of unconventional
and arrogant heroine of this classic.
-
Atlas Shrugged , Ayn Rand - I have just started this novel and already
feel its power seep into me.Ayn Rand's revolutionary novel which established
her as a leading thinker of her times.
-
An Autobiography of a Yogi ,Paramhansa Yogananda - Breathtaking
account of the ancient Indian Yogis written by a real, live Yogi.Very Scientific
in approach and has the power to bring about a spiritual revolution.

A brief history of time,Stephen Hawkings - A must for any science
lover.
-
Day of the Jackal,Frederick Forsyth - Forsyth is a master story
teller.Thoroughly enjoyable
