·         Developed strategy for 64-bit Windows solution on HP Integrity servers to ensure that the solution has the connectivity and manageability capabilities that our customers need.

·         Owned the product roadmap and worked with engineering organization on solution releases.

·         Supported pre-sales teams by providing collateral and training.

PProduct Manager, Utility Data Center (UDC) Solution. (2002- 2004)

 

UDC is a leading-edge integrated solution for IT data centers that enables efficient management and sharing of resources among various services without needing physical reconfiguration.

 

·         Managed the customer requirements gathering process, use case development and roadmap for the solution.

·         Managed solution lifecycle of designing, building and delivering multi-million UDC solutions to initial customers with help of worldwide value-chain partner teams.

Marketing Program manager, OpenView Business Unit, (2001-2002)

 

·         Managed a partner program to promote Open Management Interface (OMI), a XML/SOAP based interface for managing business processes and web services, among partners and web services platform vendors.

·         Represented HP in standards body Oasis to standardize the OMI technology.

·         Developed technical marketing material for pre-sales consultants.

EEngineering Manager, Web Services Operations, (1999-2001)

 

·         Managed the development of multimedia portal solution in collaboration with Helsinki Telecom, Finland and successfully deployed the solution at the University of Helsinki.

·         Managed development and deployment of an e-Speak, a proprietary web services platform by HP,  based marketplace solution to integrate various buyer and supplier enterprises.

·         Managed relationship, contracts and deliverables from external system integrators who helped deploy the e-Speak based solutions.

·         Led discussions with existing e-Speak customers and planned their migration to web services platform so that HP could efficiently sunset e-Speak.

·         Managed a team of 23 engineers worldwide to release the developer edition of HP Web Services Platform that included UDDI server/UDDI4J client, SOAP server and HP application server and to support existing e-Speak customers.

·         Planned strategy for supporting web services platform and built a team of support engineers.

·         Managed software releases of Call Management System (CMS), a three-tiered Client/Server software system used by worldwide HP response centers to support the customers.

A software company that developed software role based database security.

·         Started as the first employee of the company with an idea to develop a middleware product for database security and developed initial prototype using Java, C++ and CORBA.

·         Built a team of 15 engineers and worked with them to develop the product.

·         Worked with venture capitalists, potential customers, partners and software vendors on licensing various software components.

·         Led a group of 10 engineers in Bangalore who worked on maintaining, troubleshooting, supporting, and enhancing the HP Call Management System.

·         Collected requirements from the worldwide users and the business team and worked with engineers in Bangalore to develop and test HP Call Management System releases.
