The current version (v1.10) will cause a GPF when executed in WinNT 4.0. I suspect it was due to the way I call the registry. I'll try to fix it in a later version. Thanks to Stephen Trier for informing me about this.

I have downloaded but not yet tried your little programme. Looks good. Will
let you know if there are any problems.
I am in Milwaukee, WI (USA). This is a city of about 1.2 million in the
shores of Lake Michigan.
I got your program from a local bulletin board (Excec PC) which bills
itself as the largest in the world. They are also my internet providers.
You will find them at www.execpc.com.
Cheers,
Daniel S.

Hi,
I discovered your cd player quite by accident by doing a search at
www.shareware.com for all win95 cd players.
What a lovely, little program that does _everything_ all the big hogs do and
all with subtlely and discretion. Thanks. Also thanks for providing
instructions for changing the default cd player in the registry and not
automatically going in there and changing it without permission.
You've done a great job.
Thank you.

Small, very reliable... you are a very good programmer who still
maintain very short codes, but do a very good job too.
I'll like to obtain info's for future enhancement or releases.
Please, dont forget it.
Hi Charlie, "read" you later on The Net!

I got your super CD player off a bbs, and since you wanted to have us say
Hi, here's the mail for you...
I really like the player, it uses 5% of the CPU, I ran "Wintune 95" and
the performance was BARELY under the normal when the player was
running... ITS GREAT...
By the way, I live in GREEN BAY, WISCONSIN -- USA so, your program has
traveled FAR, and aplaud you for a great program

Greetings!
I just downloaded Super CD, and I'd like to thank you. Now I
have a CD player that actually does what I want it to, without the
overkill. I'd offer any suggestions, but I can't think of anything that
could possibly be improved!
Thanks again!

Thanks for your SuperCD player. I have searched for 1 1/2 days to find
just a CD player. Most of the ones out there now are the live audio and
video players for the network, and not a music CD player.
I am in Moore Oklahoma. If you look for this on a map, it's right south
of Oklahoma City, and it's hard to tell where one stops and the other
begins.
Thanks again,

Many thanks for your programme - it's a little gem and doesn't cause the mouse
interference problems when double-clicking on explorer files that I got with
flexi-cd.
In return, if you ever do get off course enough to be passing through Cardiff
UK, then drop by for a meal and a drink, and a few days stay if you feel like
it.
I downloaded your file from msn whilst looking for a programme that would play
2 or more audio cd's at once - it's for a tiny pottery museum nearby that has
a bank of 12 headphones with which they can select different cd tracks with
different information about the pottery on display. At the moment there are 3
pc's each with stereo .wav files playing ( one side of stereo is Welsh and one
side English, and each pc has a cd rom, which in stereo gives another Welsh
and English track. As cd rom's are so cheap now, I was hoping to add another
cd to each pc, but I can't find the software to do it. If you hear of anything
that would suit, please send an e-mail. Strangely enough, your programme at
least will control one cd rom whilst the 95 player will control another
without the two interfering - this is more than can be said for a lot of the
megabyte plus programmes.
Next time I visit them I'll get a post-card of the museum and send it on.
All the best and many thanks again.

Hi, I use your great SuperCD and enjoy it very much, the two things I
would like to see in future releases though are 1. Why not allow Continous
AND Random Play at once? 2. Autoplay when I insert a music CD
Anyway, just a passing request, Ill still use it always either way, well,
you take care over there in Singapore....thanks for a great program!

Thanks and I like it

Hello Charlie,
I D/L your shareware CD player program and want to tell you I like it alot. It was just what I was looking for!
A little about me.. I'm 39 years old and live in New Jersey, USA. I live on the Beach here in NJ and have to get ready to board up the windows and doors to my house in a few hours.. Hurricane Edouard looks like it might slam into my area in New Jersey.. Right now the waves in the ocean are huge and it's only gonna get worse! well, So much for my story.. Thanks
again for your program!
Oh.. Got a question.. How do I get the window up for your program so I have control over FF REW Play buttons?
Thanks again

Hi Charlie,
Finally a CD player with no nag screens, which doesn't take up space on the taskbar, and does what it's told! :) Thank you so very much!
A tracklist off the Settings menu would be the icing on the cake, but you did ask for suggestions :)))).
All the best,
-John Paul

Nice player. It does exactly what I wanted: it only allocates about 1MB with only 256K in memory. That's considerably less than MS Win95's cdplayer. Great Job! I'd highly recommend it, in fact I will.

Charlie,
Thanks for you invention. I think its a very useful thing. One problem.
Why is it that when i put a list of cd titles in the system, when i
start the supercd player from new it looses the titles? All and all, its
still a very good piece of computer programming.
thanks.
henry
