Ex-Lecturer meets with accident while crossing
road.
While crossing the road at Old Klang Road, ex-Informatics Lecturer, Andrew
Ooi, was knocked down by a motor cycle. This happened even though he had reached the
divider of the road. According to the motor-cyclist he lost control because a green car
cut into his lane and could not help but collide into the divider. It was just unfortunate
that there was a pedestrian standing there at the time..
I was that
pedestrian and I spent a whole month in University Hospital tending to a compound fracture
on my right leg. I had 4 metal rods inserted into my leg and it stayed there for 3 months.
Was it painful ? Not really. Not when my girlfriend took care of me all the time I was in
the hospital. :) At the moment I'm still waiting for my bones to mend so I have time to
update this long neglected homepage.
I thank all those who have visited me at the hospital.Especially Jasminder,
Shum, Chris
Chew, Yin Yee, Nick, Chun Wei, Sarah (and her entire family), Jo Jo ( and her brother),
Yew Choe, Kok Soon, Jim, Alice, Wan Ngoh, Angela, and others whose name I can't recall at
the moment (better check my head for concussions too :)
