Patch
39 kb
This is a patch to the Delphi Games Creator beta 6 to allow it to work under NT 4.0. It contains a few other changes as well.

My tiled world components.

This code is in it's very early stages.  It also features an updated version of my sprite routines that allow the sprites to be positioned relative to the world.

The TSpriteEngine component is part of some code I put together for some games I am writing. It is still in the experimental stage at the moment. It requires the Delphi Games Creator to run. I've also included a sample application to show how to use the component. It is actually a very limited implementation of the classic Mac game Crystal Quest (one of the coolest games around at the time).

TUnivBM is a collection of components that allow Delphi applications (and Delphi itself) to load PCX and GIF files. The facility also exists to add other file formats.
25.7 kb
This is the 32 bit version of the TUnivBM code. I will probably also work under Delphi 1.0 but I haven't tried it. It also contains the complete source code to the GIF routines since I can't be bothered doing any more work on them at the moment.
1.4 kb
The TClipMap component displays two bitmaps one on top of the other. A third two color bitmap serves as a mask to decide which of the bitmaps to show at each point.
10.1 kb
This component displays a rotating bitmap. Any standard (non-compressed) BMP file can be displayed.
25.5 kb
This component is the 32 bit version of the TMapRot control. It contains several enhancements over the 16 bit version, including the ability to stretch the output to fit any area.
5.3 kb
This component, when placed on a form fills itself with a repeated bitmap. Unlike other tiled bitmap components it allows portions of a form to be covered and not just the whole form.
