WHAT IS DESCENT?

Descent is practically a flight simulator that lets you move in a 360 degree environment, perfectly well controlable and with incredible graphics.

Descent has textured maps that look really incredible in resolutions of 640 X 480 and even 800 X 600 in registered versions! Add it up with some morphosis and include some splashing directional music and sound effects that make the player feel as a part of the game. Descent is a miracle game that transports the player into a world of endless tunnels infested with mechanical hordes of robots commanded by alien forces still unknown to humans.

The pilot's mission? Simple (as said in PTMC words), eliminate al robots in infested mines without concern of the life of an ex-convict (role that the player takes in the game). The game is really enjoying if you have a PC 486 DX2-66Mhz 16 RAM or better with a Sound Blaster card. I really don't recommend playing Descent with less than this.
