The Drive Space utility (DSpace) is a DOS program that shows you the free and allocated space, the percentage free and the size of all you hard-disks and network drives.
This utility can be used to determine which drives have a
certain amount of space free.
Another reason to use this utility is when your drive letter have
changed or you do not know which drive letters there are.
Drive space shows the following items per drive: drive letter, volume label, bytes per cluster, kB allocated, free space, size and percentage free. If the drive is a CD-ROM drive, it shows: drive letter, volume label (Empty is the drive is empty or Audio CD if it contains an audio CD) and the text CD-ROM. The text CD-ROM only indicates that it is an CD-ROM drive.
In the example below drive J has an audio CD and drive K is empty.
