It would be nice if a general article on how to connect to a Oracle server through UNIX or NT is written. This something like your first day as an Oracle developer or Oracle DBA. Normally new developers know how to write code but the general things like w ere to start and How to go from there and where - are commonly fear a new developer. And debugging is painful in Oracle comparitively in SQL server and programing like VB. So some tips related to debugging are very helpful. Generally I gained lot of knowl dge from this site. Hi Biju, I really like your site. It's helpful, but as a new user there are a couple of things that would be very helpful. It would be nice if all the scripts had "show errors" at the end. I didn't know about this command and had to do a bit of researc to find it. Also, the errors I had in compilation had to do with my rights being granted as part of a role rather than being logged in as sys. It would be helpful to know this. These may be appropriate for your new dba page. Thanks for helping me sta t out.
