More About Me, My Family & My Friends

Well, for those of you who really want to know, I was born in Natchitoches, Louisiana on May 15, 1976. My father was in the Air Force and my family moved a lot. Among the places my family lived were Ocean Springs, Mississippi, Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Wörsbach, West Germany, and Warner Robins, Georgia.

My Mother and Father are Cheryl and Donald Thomas from Many, Louisiana. I have two younger sisters, Laura Dawn Thomas-Lahneman and Patricia Ann Thomas-Lahneman.(Laura got married to Adam Lahneman in September 1998)(Patricia got married to Matthew Slay in April of 1997, divorced him in 2001 and got remarried to Jason Lahneman, Adam's older brother. . . - you can tell we're from Louisiana. . .)

As for me, I have been married once, but now I am Divorced. I moved in October 2004 to Spokane, Washington where my friends (The Adopt-A-Brothers) Cole and Mikey helped me get my life back together and I landed one of the best jobs of my life at Gonzaga University as a User Services Technician. Where I worked on a term position that ended in May of 2006. I immediately got a great job offer from Washington State University in June 2006 and have been here at WSU ever since. At WSU I work as an Information Technology Specialist and help the faculty, staff, and graduate students with their computer problems. I truly love my job!

I love being an Aunt, my sister Patricia has 3 children, my niece and nephews, Samantha Nichole Slay, Matthew Wayne Slay Jr., and Michael Nicholas Slay. As you will notice, they are extremely cute! Samantha just turned 8, Matthew is 7 years old and Michael is 6 years old. I miss them a lot and see them infrequently. I want to give them every opportunity in life that I can and I hope they grow up to be smart, healthy, happy, and hopefully educated!

I've made and lost many friends over my lifetime. Being a military brat and moving so much during my childhood has made me realize how special having and keeping my friends really is. I would list my friends here, but there are way too many... I just want them all to know that I appreciate them!
