Although, presently, I am having a bit of trouble deciding which one is predominant..
I am now a certified SCO A.C.E, which means, I am an Advanced Certified Engineer for the Santa Cruz Organization's commercial UNIX products.
But I can administer any UNIX system...don't believe any hype about "UNIX being fragmanted."
That's really a lot of nonsense.
And I can speak with some authority on the matter..
REALLy, all the difference is, is bells and whistles inherent to each. Like your word processing programs... they all do the same basic things, but OOOh, THe BELLs & WHISTLEs!!
Besides, here's the real kicker..all I need to get my HP certification is to take 2 tests, because I already know UNIX... I can navigate through a Linux system o.k. enough, too.
I'm also getting my M.C.P. certicfication(Microsoft Certified Professional)
THIs Is My CONCLuSIOn after getting my training{not my quote}

You tend 2 hear a lot about how it takes longer to learn UNIX than the GUI only operating systems... (take NT, for example)
In response to that--
Here's a good quote I gleaned fom a site:

It's been a long, HARD road, and I've been here for over two years now, but I've finally found a reason to redesign my front page.

I've gone from total clueless HTML and internet newbie, ...
to web-junkie and IT professional.
I just can't think of anything I need to put extra on my frontpage..I have TONS of content, and all my brain can come up with is "You have the links, so....?"
Maybe my brain is just too much on the pragmatic side, and if anyone out there can find anything I can spruce up my front page with, or a reason why I should add anything..
and what can I add..?

 ...Although, most of the "presonal" gifs that I have done, I am using throughoout the site. Either as links images, or others...
I especially love playing around and doing 3-D animations..although I should be uploading some more of those to this site!! LOL

I have been doing a lot of Internet gaming recently.. most specifically, for Quake. And I have joined a clan, who makes one of the most innovative Quake2 MODs out there.. NightHunters. It's given a high rating by Planetquake.. and we also have a page there! So THAT should count for something, YA THINK??!! :-)
The positive feedback I have gotten from my NH pages are overwhelming, and I've been told that they're pretty damn hilarious, (and even I keep laughing at my own pages..) so I sincerely suggest that you check then out..
Besides, you have just gotta look at my Quake player profile. :-) (grin)
I was planning to have QTimeVR images & panoramas ready, but that quickly went down the toilet.. dunno if it was me or the program, but that's not a done deal.
But I have been tweaking with some Javascript, Java, and Shockwave..some dynamic features-- and I'm gonna have those up, by hook or by crook!
I've already done my resumé in Javascript, to make it more dynamic and interactive, and since I am no longer in charge of maintaining St.Stephen's web-site, I'm no longer spending too much time maintaining other peoples'sites!
ANYWAYS. How're ya guys doin'!
