Go!Zilla is an extremely easy to use download manager. It's
explorer style interface and automatic browser integration can save
you many headaches. Want a file that's not available from one site?
Simply click on "Find" and Go!Zilla will query ftp archives
around the world and find another location for you. It will even tell
you how responsive the site is.
Turn on the "drop zone" and a Go!Zilla eye will
appear in your browser window. Just drag and drop links from the web
page to the drop-zone and they will be added to the queue. You can
download them at a set time, such as when network activity is at a
lull. This can save a lot of online costs.
Go!Zilla also features SmartUpdate, a tool that allows you to
moniter software you have downloaded, and will alert you if updates or
enhancements become available. You will receive an announcement when
this occurs, and a link to where you can download the updates.
Go!Zilla is ad supported, but that does not detract from the
overall performance of the program. It is a lifesaver when you are
constantly downloading files or are on an unstable connection.
Go!Zilla makes it easy to reconnect, find alternate sites, resume
downloading, set download speeds, pause downloads, download from http
OR ftp sites, and set times to connect or disconnect from the
internet. This program is highly recommended.
