Winter 2004

Once again we did the tour and spent the holidays with family - Thanksgiving in Scarsdale, Christmas in CT and VT and New Years in VT. It was great seeing everyone. As luck would have it, we didn't take many pictures. So there aren't many pictures from the holidays here, sorry...

We had a great time over the holidays. Then January hit like a sledgehammer and we froze for weeks. We're used to cold in New England, but -15 is a bit cold.... But we're troopers - builds character, right? Either way, we stayed inside most of the time and reaped the rewards: Amanda overnight in the hospital with Bronchiolitis, Jake out for a week with Strep Throat, Jen and Mike home for days with a violent stomach flu (thanks to Mariah for taking care of Amanda).
It was GREAT!!

Thankfully, March came and the illnesses ended. Inbetween we took a few photos - here they are---

Jake entertains Amanda, quite easily.

Jake is loving Emma in VT.

Jake has become quite the Bionicle collector!

Lovin' Barney and her book

12/15/03: Amanda is 4 months old!

Daddy feeds Amanda food via spoon for the first time. She wasn't impressed.

 Jake Turns 7! (12/17/03)

Now officially a "school aged child" according to the pediatric world, no more "small" "toddler" "young" "little" for Jake! He's let us know that he's going to be a "good cool kid" instead of the "bad cool kid" when he becomes a teenager. (If you figure it out, let us know.)

Jake's birthday party was a great success. Lots of friends, play, cake and his mom came too!

Everyone posing with the birthday boy.

Striking a pose in his new digs from Aunt Emily and Uncle Dave.

Jake drew the image for his birthday invitation. (It's of Daddy bringing all the kids cake.)

Amanda's obligatory bathtub photos.
She's lovin' those ducks!

"Now what am I supposed to do???"

In honor of the Patriots playing in the Superbowl, Mike teaches the 6-7 yr olds football.

It went....okay. Tackling wasn't a big hit. Maddie found the frozen ball more interesting than useful...

6 months old!
(Can you see the teeth? 2 on the bottom)

Jake and Daddy reading the paper - the sports page anyway. Jake is a very excited reader.

Still loving this book! Tastes good too.

Jake feeds Amanda- very cute.

Jake gives Amanda a kiss. However, Dad is clowning in the background...

 Yeah, they're watching TV.
Don't worry, it's educational.

Jen is IN the picture instead of taking the picture!! Oscar has decided to join Amanda and Mom in the chair. As you can see, he's willing to take the squished position.

Jake with his new reindeer nose.

Jake in a box! He's in the box of his remote control car at Grandpa Bob's house. (Thanks Uncle Wayne!)

 Amanda with a Santa hat!
