Here you will find articles by me and references to other sites and information that I find useful and relevant to game design.
- Feb 15, 1998. An article that I wrote about working as a virtual company. (The article was published on Videogamedesign.com, along with the Issues In Computer Game Design series of articles.)
- Issues In Computer Game Design, A Series. This is a planned series of short articles about various aspects of designing games. They are helpful to me by summarizing my own self-education about game design theory, and I hope they are helpful for someone else who has perhaps never considered game design in a formalized way.
- Coming soon! A dabble in level design, featuring commentary about the custom levels I designed for the game SPISPOPD.
- Computer Games as Art is a really short but rhetorical essay I wrote.
- Tile Graphics Techniques, an article I wrote about programming game graphics using "tiles" (illustrated and HTML-ized by Greg Breland).
- Why Are Computers So Hard To Use? Paul Lutus wrote this article about design, but not game design. Still a very relevant piece for all software developers.
