How to Duplex Print under CTOS.

With CTOS GPS R2.7, Unisys provided limited Duplex printing capability.
(Duplexing was documented as least as far as GPS R2.4, but was "Not Implemented").

Duplex printing only works with Postscript printers (ie. printers that use PSDD.Run).

To use duplexing:
You need: GPS R2.7.0 or later.
A Postscript printer which has a "Duplexer".

On the Device Setup line, just add the entry
Printer:DU2210

You should now be able to duplex print.

You can force duplex printing, by using the Duplex parameter on the Device Setup line.
The Duplex parameter has three options:
Duplex:1 - normal one-sided printed.
Duplex:2 - doubled sided "Book Bound" duplexing
Dulpex:3 - double sided "Flip Bound" duplexing

Applications which are "Duplex" aware will overide this.

A "Duplex" aware application is OFIS Document Designer R3.1.

Duplex programming.
To program duplexing into your application, you need to use the bSides parameter within the GPAM call GPAMBEGINPAGE.
