Monday, 5 April, 1999: I’ve just observed that this page’s HTML 4.0 “Strict” and CSS2 compliance is pretty much nil. I don’t have time to change all the certified references, though. Yay.
This 1998 edition’s being designed with HTML 4.0’s Strict and Frameset DTDs and the CSS2 specification. Some web browsers may choke on some of the “HTML 4.0 Entities”—extended characters—in the new edition. Also, some browsers are known to choke on CSSs, though CSS-validated pages are designed to work properly without support for it.
