Jonathan’s Page: Tables Tutorial

Below is a condensed version of my page (the flesh of it taken out). You should be able to match each section with the real one. (Hopefully the design hasn’t changed much there since I have done this page.) Some of the filler sentences have been needlessly lengthened to make the condensed version look right.

If you look closely, there are actually three sections of the tabled part of the page. This assists with image loading (in some browsers). On the other hand, for the background colours to show up, you have to use a third-generation Netscape or second-generation Internet Explorer. (Noting at the same time, never download the GeoCities copy of IE.)

Okay, so this is complicated as anything and no soul will read it! Unless you want to look at the source…
