Otis Canter, 87 MAYFIELD, Ky.
Services for Otis "Tobe" Canter, 87, of Mayfield will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Brown Funeral Home here with Richard Adams officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mr. Canter died at 7:15 p.m. Thursday at Heritage Manor Healthcare Center.
A retired electrician, he was a member of Pilot Oak Church of Christ and a Masonic lodge in Palmersville, Tenn.
Surviving are two daughters, Sue Glisson of Pilot Oak and Dianne Carol Good of Bowling Green; one son, Jimmy Canter of Detroit; one sister, Margaret Thacker of Sutherlin, Ore.; 17 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Canter; three daughters; and two sisters. His parents were Thad and Pearl Wilson Canter.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Abner POTTS died 1815 to 1820 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee. He
resided in Montgomery Co., Tennessee.

Benton, KY 42025Abner POTTS died in Marshall County, Mississippi. He settled in
Rutherford County, Tennessee. He was an attorney at law and farmer, and
in 1827 represented his County in the Legislature of his State. While in
Marshall County, Mississippi, in the year 1840, he was thrown from a
horse and killed.

Harold Quitman Casey
SHARON -- Harold Quitman Casey, 93, of Sharon, died June 14, 2003, at
his residence.Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Gardner Funeral Home with Rev.
Harold Stricker officiating. Burial was in Tansil Cemetery.Thomas Brewer, Jerry Harris, Mike Barker, J.L. King, Roger Johnson, and
Bubba Vickers served as pallbearers.Casey was born June 21, 1909, in Graves County, Ky., the son of the late
Nathaniel and Lela Waller Casey. He was a retired carpenter and a member
of Bethlehem Methodist.Survivors include his wife, Zella Casey; a son, Junior Casey of Dukedom;
two daughters, Betty Warren and Peggy Vinson both of Sharon; two
step-brothers, Bobby Baker of Sharon and James Baker of Memphis; several
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
