Karaoke Software
This software should be able to play audio and video formats that windows mediaplayer plays. Format that had been tested to play were wav, mp3, mpg, mpeg, avi and DAT (VCD) extension files.
Music Database
1. This is where you keep and organize all the records
a. ID automatically recorded
b. Others are entered by user.
2. Double click will open record details.
Music Data
1. This is where all the details used by the program is stored
a. Artist
b. Title
c. Audio/Video files
d. Play from and Play to time in 100 milliseconds format
e. Audition
2. Artist Db button will open Artist Database window where it will administer the Artist ID to be used for Artist Database search.
3. How to copy audio/video file
a. Search where the audio/video file location is
b. Click on the audio/video file
c. Click on the “Audition” label to listen to the audio or watch the video
d. Click on the audio/video file again to stop the audition
e. Click on the Update Data if you DO NOT want to copy the Audio/Video to
the harddrive or prefer to play it from the existing location like Thumbdrive,
f. Click on the “Copy” label to copy the content to the local default folder on the harddrive label C:\vKoKE\. Wait until the “HOUR GLASS” icon change to normal pointer before proceeding to the “TRIM IN” and “TRIM OUT”
g. NOTE: DEFAULT FOLDER C:\Vkoke MUST BE CREATED
Artist Database
1. Default number of artist is 1000.
2. Data stored here is
a. Artist (Solo or Group)
b. Picture that the artist associated with.
3. To enter artist name, double click on the record under Artist column
4. To enter picture click on Graphic button and choose any graphic that you would like to associate the artist with. (Please stored all the graphic in a folder in a root directory)
Karaoke Playlist
1. This is where you arrange the video/audio to be played
2. A maximum of 10 video/audio events can be qued in sequence here
3. Alphabet from A to Z is to access records that starts with the associated alphabet. Example if you were to press “A” all artists that starts with “A” will be displayed
4. How to choose a video/audio and qued them in the playlist?
a. Left click the video/audio on the right list
b. Left click the position where you want the video/audio on left list. The box will be highlighted in yellow
c. Click on the “Put” button
5. How to choose a video/audio and qued them in the Hotkey
a. Left click the video/audio on the right list
b. Right click at any number on the Hotkey
6. “S” button will toggle between “C” and “S” when pressed
a. “S” will only play one event in the playlist window
b. “C” will continously play events in the playlist window
7. Video Width and Height: Depending on your screen resolution the default value is
a. Width 1024
b. Height 800
c. Left 0
d. Top 0
8. Video Position. If you have two screen activated, the songs video screen can be positioned on the second screen. Depending on your screen resolution the default value is 1025 (Screen Resolution as 1024 X 768) else 0 if you only have one screen
