Tahoe cabin details

Here are the directions and general stuff for you to be aware of at the
cabin. Plus some other things you may need for skiing:

Waterproof Ski pants
Goggles or sun glasses
Gloves or mittens
Ski jacket
Non-cotton long underware bottoms and top
Fleece or wool top
Wool socks
Boots
$ to rent skis and take a lesson (about $50 per day for a learn to ski package)

Other fees:
Ski rentals, lift ticket and lessons: about $50 per day

Directions
Take Hwy 80 out of San Francisco. Go East on Hwy 80, following the signs
for Reno. After about 3 hours (depending on traffic and weather) you will
go by signs for Auburn, then Colfax, and then the small town of Applegate.
Truckee is about 50 miles from there. They start doing chain control and
traffic control anytime in this area (MAKE SURE YOU HAVE CHAINS!!!). You
will cross over Donner Summit. At the top of the summit will be a Vista
Point exit, then an exit to Donner Lake. The NEXT exit after Donner Lake is
Donner Pass Road. TAKE THAT. (Often the signs are covered with snow, which
is why I'm being very precise about what signs you will see.If you missed
the Donner Pass Road exit, the next exit is Hwy 89. Take that instead and
go under the Highway to the left and take a left at the first street and
follow that to Northwoods. Take a right on Northwoods.) From the Donner
Pass Road exit, turn left at the light, go over the freeway and follow the
road about 1/2 mile to the first stop light. This is Northwoods. Go left at
Northwoods. Follow Northwoods for about 1.3 miles. You will come to a stop
light. Take a left. This is also Northwoods (it is one big loop.) Continue
for another  1.2 miles. Then take a left onto Innsbrook. Go for .2 miles
and you will get to the first cross road which is the Balzano/Innsbrook
intersection. Our cabin/garage will be directly in front of you at that
point.
