CPT Collection

All files are in CPT library format and you should have CPT Crosswords (or CPT Diagrams) program to read these files. Extract the archives downloaded from this page into separate directory, adjust the folder setting of the program (in Browse tab as Folder Type select Library, click on 'Set Folder' button and select the directory), and browse the new libraries (click on 'Start' button.)

Here you can take the whole 1999 collection: cpt_coll.zip (338 KB, 9500 diagrams and over 500 grids and crosswords). And here is the whole 2004 collection coll_2004.zip (83 KB, mainly grids in many languages). It is a good idea to save this page and use it as a reference. Below you will find the list of the files classified by the contents and some notes. The 'Size' shows the dimension of the grid (columns x rows). On the right of the file links, the file size, number items, and the identifier of the collection are given. The styles are explained in "CPT - The Primer".

The 'diagrams' are just the black and white cells of the crossword grids. The diagrams can be exported to external format and can be used as input to several crossword generators.
