You have a grapple for an arm, and you can't jump! This unique ride coupled with some very fine level design makes this side-scroller a worthwhile trip. | |

| Although the Dragon Warrior series was sweet, it wasn't the biz until Dragon Warrior III. Thanks to the massive cart space, the Dragon Warrior world is finally big enough to park a pinto inside and immersive enough to keep you playing, with the optional side quests that really make an RPG flow. Plus, you can completely customize your questin' crew, and as you progress, you can change their class to gain mad skilz. |   |

No game-playin street-hangin mutha worth his Ovaltine-and-juice can forget Excite Bike, a fairly messed-up idea for an 80s video game. Where else can you chill with my main man who can take a blow to the head and roll that joint and still get up and cruise? This game also gets props for the (then) unheard of ability to create your own funky fresh track designs. | |

Some peeps didn't catch the wave when Final Fantasy dragged its punk-ass on tha scene. Those freaks who missed the start of the RPG series thats more fly than a Merlot Broham can still experience this dope cart in all its 8-bit glory. This mad romp is the story of Four Warriors out to find four orbs, kick ass and chew bubblegum. Of course, those already in tha know are invited to reminisce and recapitulate with tha mutha of all RPGs. |   | |

Though hes the least fashion-conscious hero ever, Mega Man more than makes up for his taste in blue spandex. Though my man Mega's got one tight gun there and knows how to use it, his enemies have everything from blades to bombs to electric bolts at their disposal. Megaman does have one mad advantage: the more bosses Mega Man whacks, the bigger his arsenal gets. | |

| As one of the most slammin' side-scrolling adventures ever, Metroid has found its share of fans. The Mother Brain has crossed the line, snatching the Metroid and threatening to let it loose in your backyard. No worries though, as Samus has got the moves to put one over on just about any old freak, even on a crazy planet fortress like Zebes. |   | |

Rygar is one of those tough-as-nails nutcases, the kind that takes no prisoners and bleeds no sympathy. Rygar must find the evil Ligar and smack his ass, because he stole the Door of Peace and put the 5 gods of Indora under duress. Awesome vistas and strange enemies abound in his path, but with a flash of his Diskarmer, or a quick Assualt and Assail, he will always dominate. | |
