Welcome to my MS Office Bengali Templates for Word, Excel & PPT. These
work for versions of Office 97, 2000 and Office XP. However I suggest you move
to Unicode ...
Download or Email for a vastly improved version of Romanization for Bengali.
Read the Readme1st.Txt file and proceed step by step to perfection in Bengali Ms
Office.
This version has all the Undo & reversal features.
You can create your own Bengali GIFs. Use PPT and save Bengali WordArt as GIF/JPG. Use
as wall paper or screen saver or scale as Signature! Great Fun!! See a sample GIF.
DOLJATRA GREETING in GIF
Now you will be able to write & spreadsheet & chart &
powerpoint - in Bengali!
- Distribute
this non-Unicode lightweight software freely ~ 140KB.
My
8-bit technology is now obsolete. 8-bit
fonts are not desirable. You will never get 100% satisfaction on JuktoAkshar.
Current imaging and graphics software does not take Unicode – to that extent
only it is useful. Soon almost all software will be Unicode and OpenType so
Bangla will work perfectly everywhere.
Best is move to Unicode Technology. View “U0980.pdf” in BanglaUnicodeVBA.zip.
This will enable Unicode Bangla in MS Word. You can edit macro in DOT template to suit your taste. In the zip LikhanNormal.ttf the is provided.
Bengali Unicode is now supported both in Windows (XP & 2000 & 98(IE only)) as well as Linux.
A very nice article on Unicode “MinUnicode.mht” in the
BanglaUnicode.zip.
http://www.travelphrases.info/gallery/Fonts_Bengali.html. SolaimanLipi is a very attractive OpenType font. They have a wonderful Unicode keyboard program called Avro. You can type Bangla in Notepad!
To install SolaimanLipi Start-> Settings-> ControlPanel-> Open
Fonts-> (menu) Install New Font – click on SolaimanLipi.ttf
Deepayan Sarkar http://www.stat.wisc.edu/~deepayan/Bengali/WebPage/Contrib/BanglaInput.html
has a easy Bengali Unicode Typewriter. I have a very slightly modified version
in BanglaUnicode.zip
- it uses SolaimanLipi and ` (reverse apostrophe) is khando-ta.
Deepayan’s Unicode OpenType font is Likhan which you will need to download from his web-site to read the wonderful Ankur pages.
Microsoft Bengali typography using OpenType has perfected every conceivable JuktoAkshar.OpenType has Bengali Linux implementations.
If you have Solaimanlipi you can read easily the text below.
Bangla Unicode rendering is now so mature that Deepayan’s Ankur Group even has a literature site you can enjoy -

is probably best non-phonetic direct input ...
I prefer MS Word as it is common in Corporate places.
Moreover the template & fonts are very light weight
Also you can integrate Excel PowerPoint ...
Even MS Word Word Art works
