ABOUT ME
Loser from Loserville with no direction, goal, or guidance in life.

My brain's rotting. I watch too much TV and don't read anymore.  TV is the worst addiction I have -- never done drugs, not a big drinker, no sodas, 2 cups of coffee or tea per day, and mostly a vegetarian.

I work hard and when I come home, I just wanna spread eagle in front of this deadly tube.  I wish its demise.  Once the TV's turned on, it's very hard to turn it off until I go to bed around 11pm!

If I'm home in the daytime, I try to control myself and resist the urge to turn it on for as long as I can stand it.  The good thing is though, I watch a lot of Discovery, PBS, and History channels and a lot of educational shows and a few shows on the network TV.

Nonetheless, I would like to start reading again. And it's easier said than done. When I try to read, I can read only a few pages before my ADD kicks in to distract me to take a TV break! And that's when the vicious cycle starts!!  I think TV causes ADD beside the other obvious symptoms such as turning a person into a couch potato, rotting your brain by doing the thinking for you and serving it up, turning you into a procrastinator by opting for TV rather than doing pressing house chores, and finally becoming disorganized in all facets of one's life!

My job requires a lot of reading and I have no idea when I can take a break to read.  When I come home from a 12-14 hour workday, the last thing I want to see is field related book or anything that reminds me of my job. TV is the only thing that relaxes me and brings some semblance of escapsim into my otherwise mundane boring life.
