Note : This resource is provided as is, and any responsabilities go upon the

1- Installing
Unzip the .zip file using Winzip 7.0 (older versions have not been tested) into
the 3drad folder.
2- Usage
You can use them in multiple ways :
-You can open the '3dflats' project to test it out and fiddle with its features
-You can load the resource into any project
-You can use it as a template to create your own 24-bit flats
3- Creation and animation
To create your own flats, you must have a good 24-bit color image editor. (==>
Paint Shop Pro)
Note : any flats MUST be scaled to the power of two (==> 256 x 256)
First, make sure the background is PURE black (==> 0,0,0 RGB colors)
Then, make sure that while making the flat image, there is a clear outline between the background and the flat
itself.
If you want parts to be transparent, make them in PURE black.
Animation :
The animation is done by using the provided shape as a template :
-Open the '3dflat.v3d' shape in the 3d object editor. Then, click on the 'frame' button to enter the frame editor.
You will see a '1'.
Keep adding '1's vertically as many times as there are frames.
Return to the 3d object editor.
-Switch between frames. For each frame, apply each image of the animation as a texture.
Configure the animation speed by pressing the 'info' button of the flat element.
4- Effects
There are multiple ways to modify the flat in the 'info' button menu :
-Modify the orientation : you can choose the rotation of the flat. Just input the amount of degrees!
-Modify the spin factor : this makes the flat spin depending on the intensity you input!
Try this on explosion animations to make them way cooler!
-Transluscency : input the transluscency factor. Makes your flat as transluscent or solid as you want.
-Color : the default RGB (red, green, blue) colors are 255,255,255. You can modify each color, to come up with loads of different combinations.
-Animation speed : input the speed for the animation.
