Lexibook LD 2000 PC to Excel link

The Lexibook LD 20000 PC is an economic (I bought mine in a local supermarket for under $50), yet usefull personal organizer which handles your address book, phone numbers, appointments, memos, etc. It comes with a link which allows you to transfer data to and from your PC. Unfortunately, this works only in DOS mode and the data files can only be used with the rudimentary DOS editor shiped with he organizer.

A little program allows you to exchange data with Microsoft Excel and thus with any othe WINDOWS application via cut-and-paste.

The Main Menu of the program lets you choose the files to import / export from or to Excel. The imported files can then be viewed by simply clicking on a tag in Excel, like in this example of the schedule editor.

You can download a free copy of the program here. If you modify the program in any usefull way, or find out anything else of interest, please email me at werner@cstb.fr so I can summarize and make your findings available to others.

If you have problems with your lexibook, questions about how to use it or how to adapt the program to your particular version, please don't send me mail. I don't know the answer.

Big parts of this program were written on an old portable computer in airplanes or on park benches, so please bare with me if some parts aren't perfect yet :-).

There's also an official lexibook WEB site now: http://www.lexibook.com/
