What to bring
Things you normally would bring on a trip such as personal items such as film, sun tan lotion, beach shoes, hiking boot/shoes, head cover and don't forget the sun glasses. You can bring some foods but there are grocery stores here for you to shop at. Our kitchens at the Condos are fully stocked with all the utensils needed for cooking if you like to eat in or use our outside grills to cook up your favorite meats and fish. Bring along your own ropes and safety equipment if you plan on doing any rock climbing.

Due to the strict Marine Laws to ensure preservation of the environment, importation of spearguns and speargun parts is prohibited by law.

Rock Climbing
"Sport climbing" is the type of climbing that is found on the steep rock faces of the bluff on Cayman Brac. Most of the Bluff's faces are steep and relatively difficult. One must be experienced to climb here. Easier climbing is difficult to find, although a few routes have been put up in the lower grades. They allow many adventurous travelers who are not climbing specialists to sample Brac's gourmet limestone. There are pre-placed titanium metal loops (hangers) permanently bolted to the rock.

Cayman Brac is a world known scuba / snorkel diving paradise. The waters are warm all year and the visibility is beyond compare. The Cayman Island government is very pro-active in preservation of the reefs and underwater marine life allowing visitors to experience the underwater world in the best conditions. The reefs begin at the water's edge in many locations. Some sites have been created to provide a sheltered access for divers, snorkeler's and swimmers. Small children and senior citizens can safely enjoy the ocean! Beautiful Public Beach is just down the road from the Breakers, and has showers, rest rooms, and covered picnic tables. There are beautiful coral heads just off shore that makes snorkeling and impressive site.

There are two dive shops on the island that offer a full line of scuba and snorkeling instruction, equipment rental, and boat dive charters.
The staff at each shop is knowledgeable and ready to assist you in making your diving experience an enjoyable and safe one!
Several of the dive sites have easy access from the shore while others are only accessible by boat.

Although Cayman Brac is well known as the #1 scuba / snorkel vacation destination, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy during your visit. As you might imagine, the fishing is great all year round with plenty of fishing piers and many areas from the shore.A chartered boat trip will give you an enjoyable outing and an abundance of fresh fish.A full day charter costs about $600.00 and half day trips run around $350.00. You should schedule your charter early so you can enjoy all the fresh fish during your stay. Our information package has specific contact details for the best fishing charters available!           Take time to visit the community park. Take a trip to Lighthouse Road and take a walk on the nature trails through the parrot sanctuary.

Speaking of the bluff, the 140 foot cliff offers a challenge for experienced climbers.
If this is your kind of sport, be sure to bring along your own ropes and safety equipment since it is not available on the island.

The Bluff on Cayman Brac is riddled with caves of many sizes. Most are not difficult to negotiate and require little specialized training or gear. Several of these caves are located a short distance from The Breakers. There are rumors that pirates hid buried treasure in the caves and that some had been found. Peter's Cave located on the Northeast side of the island can be accessed from Little Light House Road on top of the bluff. From the road below, follow the steps carved into the limestone up to the cave. New concrete steps and hand rails have been added for easier access.

There are fantastic panoramic views of the town below and ocean views on the way up to the cave.
