Working as Sales Support Engineer for Saudi Aramco Account.
Key responibilities include Support on DCS & SCADA System.
- May 2001-August 2004
The International Electrical Products Company (TIEPCO), Dammam, Saudi Arabia.
Worked in Design Department as an Automation Engineer.
Involved in Project Designing, Programming and Commissioning of GE-Fanuc PLCs, GE-Multilin Protection Relays and HMIs for clients.
Major projects executed include:
- Developed a small-scale Substation Automation Solution for ARASCO-Dammam using GE-Multilin Feeder Management Relays and Cimplicity HMI. Communication protocol used was Modbus over RS-485.
- Commissioned a large scale Substation Automation system involving more than a hundred IEDs through GE-Multilin at GAS-V Plant in Jubail.
- Developed an in-house temperature rise test bench for type testing of package substations. Test bench was developed using GE-Fanuc’s Series 90-30 PLC and Cimplicity HMI.
- Implemented Automatic Bus Transfer Scheme using GE-Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC for SEC East on 11kV System at Al-Thurayyah Substation in Al-Hassa.
- Providing technical support for GE-Multilin Protection Relays to commissioning teams on various projects.
- Project Management of Protection Panels for 34.5kV Al-Thurayyah Substation in SEC-East using ALSTOM Protection relays.
- Project Management of Automation and Marshalling cubicles for Saudi Aramco through SIEMENS.
- Project Management of Substation portion for 69kV Power Supply to National Steel and Iron Factory. Main focus on Protection, Controls and automation.

Engineering &Software Development
- I have individually carried out a project for the Automation of a Plastic Blow Molding Machine at Mandviwalla MAUSER Plastic Industries Ltd. (Uthal, Baluchistan). The work included designing, development, Testing & Commissioning of PLC Software.
- Have successfully modified and tested the PLC Software of the Blister Packing Machine at MSD Pharmaceutical (Karachi).
Commissioning
- I have commissioned several Textile machines in different factories. A few of them are Al-Karam Textile Mills, Roomi International, ChemiDansk & Zulfiqar Knitting and Textile Mills (Lahore).
- I have installed & commissioned the fire Alarm system at Engro PakTank Terminal Ltd. (Port BinQasim) & Clariant (Jamshoro).

any special hardware will be required at the user end. Calls will be placed and received, using ordinary Telephone
set.
