Purpose:

The purpose of the LCO Jr. High School Computer Club is to develop and maintain the Official School Web Page. We also have developed and will maintain club home pages. We have one major fund raiser during the school year. It is in conjunction with the LCO Student Council. The funds are used to buy computer supplies as they are consumed to ensure that all students can print whatever materials they need for reports, for research, for further knowledge.

Membership Requirements:

The first requirement for this club is genuine interest in learning to use the computer and learning to develop web pages.

The second requirement is to respect the WEB and respect the people who use the web. Any misuse of the web will be grounds for dismissal from this club. This includes school use and/or personal use. This means you can not use nudity or profanity on your personal page as well as on the school pages.

The third requirement is to always be responsible for your assignments. If you are assigned the SPORTS page of the Official Web site, you must update that site as events occur. You don't wait until the end of the football season to put it up.

The fourth requirement is to maintain control of yourself. If you are a habitual discipline problem, you will be dismissed from the club.
