D4 Programming

There are my freeware components/applications for Delphi 4. All I want is to show how common tasks could be done, using Delphi. If you found any kind of error, or have any suggestion, please e-mail me!
Also, here you could found old versions (for Delphi 3) of these projects. But remember, I will update only this page! Due to luck of upload time, the sources might be outdated, just contact me for latest ones.

    Just a small note before you go:
    As you may know Delphi 4 is able to produce executables in two forms: with and without runtime packages (RTP). I use these runtime packages: VCL40.BPL (600Kb) and VCLX40.BPL (78Kb).

    Components and units

    All the projects below was created by one person (me :) and therefore they are using common set of routines/classes presented in this archieve. There are also several components what have been used in my projects, but written not by me. You could found these components there:

  • OverByte Home Page (FR) - TwSocket components and other TCP/IP units
  • Jordan Russell's Software Page - TToolBar97 component

    EMer

    EMer is a small e-mail checker. You can preview, delete or reply on message.

    Resource Explorer

    Resource Explorer allows you to naviagte resources inside EXE files. Based on Borland Resource Explorer also have several useful features: can show Delphi forms (as text) and standart dialogs (as is).

    ASWS

    ASWS is small multithreaded personal web server. It's very easy to write own ASWS plugin and debug it in Delphi. Then you can convert your plugin to ISAPI. Also have [Client] tab, to communicate with other servers (like Telnet).
    NOTE: If you are using plugings for ASWS, you MUST compile both ASWS and plugins with RTP.

    CDROMer

    CDROMer will help you to keep list of your CDs. Will store titles, songs and everything else. Can produce HTML files, import/export items from CDPLAYER.INI. In next version there will be support for CDDB.
