What's this all about you ask?
We went to Great Britain for Y2K baby!
There was seven of us blokes - Adam Bavaria,  Anthony Crain,
Joel Horning, Matt McCarthy, Hoss Switzer, Scott Zarret, and John Rubinetti.
We departed (on Air Canada) December 28th and
arrivde in London on December 29th at 7:05AM.
We left January 4th at 1:00PM and arrived home sporadically.

Flight ~$450
Edinburgh rooms ~$400
Hogmanay ~$30

The itinerary.

12/29/1999
Arrive London 7:05AM
  Rent car, Tie luggage to roof of car, hit traffic
Drive to Edinburgh 412 miles, 10 hours
Check into the Dunedin Guest House by 8PMish
Check out the local Firkin pubs, play foosball, meet some Scots
Go to a club, and eat doner kabobs, in bed by 5:30AM

12/30/1999
Wake up late, go straight to a pub, do not pass go
Go to another pub, and another, then to Biddy Mulligan's
Look at the castle from a distance
Go to the street party, check out some bag pipers, then go to a club

12/31/1999
Wake up late again, eat, go to the street party
Experience the Edinburgh Y2K bash
Club till 6:30AM

1/1/2000
Make our way to Liverpool
Hit traffic and more traffic
Meet Uncle Jimbo and check out the night life
Fall asleep at a near freezing temperature

1/2/2000
Off to London, hit more traffic
Arrive late, check in to the YMCA
Go out and witness the seedy underbelly of London
Call it an early night, home by 2:00AM

1/3/2000
Sight see in London
Check out Big Ben, tower bridge, etc
Check out a local pub
Visit the Hippodrome club, crash

1/4/2000
Wake up in London
Go to the airport (not as easy as it sounds)
Take off for Montreal, with major headwinds
Barely make the connecting flight to Newark
Only to have the plane turn around in mid air and
return to Montreal, stay in Montreal, watch the Virginia Tech game
eat and drink $105 worth of free food and beverage
Meet Lisa the corrections officer from Canada

Finally arrive home and go to work
