ROY & BOBBIE FROM THE BEGINNING |

Roy & Bobbie first met back in the disco era of the 70’s. Back then, Bobbie spent most of her time chasing Scott Baldwin while Roy became involved with Frank Smith. Roy eventually proposed to Bobbie, which she turned down at first, but later accepted. Unfortunately, their happiness soon ended when Roy was shot down trying to assassinate Senator Mitch Williams. Luke quickly pulled Bobbie away from Roy’s dead body, or what everyone thought was his dead body.
In truth, Roy hadn’t died. The FBI had cut him a deal. In exchange for a testimony against Frank Smith, Roy wouldn’t go to prison, but instead, work 25 years as an FBI informant. Roy had no choice but to accept the deal, especially since it was the only way he could be a part time father to his daughter, Hannah.

So for 20 years Roy worked as an informant basically earning people’s trust then later turning them over to the FBI. With only five years left to go, everything was going ok. Until Roy’s assignment became Sonny, and he was sent back to Port Charles to play himself.
He met back up with Bobbie and everyone else again and explained that he had really been in prison for the past 20 years.
