SONNY & HANNAH FROM THE BEGINNING |

Sonny first met Hannah down at the docks. She was in the process of being mugged, and after saving her, he was surprised to see that his damsel in distress looked similar to his beloved late ex-fiancé, Brenda. Shaken after her near mugging, Hannah ran off before Sonny could even speak.
Sonny later saw her about a week later. He was at Jake’s, and who should be his waitress but Hannah?
Hannah was at first annoyed, after another waiter hassled her, and Sonny superiority told him off.
But they soon became close after Sonny got her a job at Luke’s. He warned her to stay away from him, but it was too late. Hannah had become “addicted.”
Hannah and Sonny eventually became even closer when they started dating. Sonny, uptight, always-watching-his-back Sonny gradually let his guard down as he began to fall for Hannah. And in turn, Hannah became head over heels, as well.

At this point, Sonny realized he was in love with Hannah and he wanted her to move in with him. Before any move happened, Sonny was the one being moved to prison when the FBI had him arrested.
As Hannah visited him in prison, he assured her that everything was ok. But little did Sonny know that Hannah had her own shocking secret.
The woman he was in love with, was a FBI agent herself, whose job was to feed the Feds information on Sonny.
Carly was the first to pick up that Hannah had a secret. Together, Carly & Jason eventually figured out Hannah was an agent.
Sonny was absolutely devastated when Jason delivered him the bad news. As if he had not suffered enough heartache and betrayal, yet another protective layer was added to his heart.
Instead of confronting Hannah head-on, Sonny played her on, letting her feed false information about him to the FBI.
When he finally told her the truth that he knew about her months of lying Hannah tried desperately to explain that as soon as she fell in love with him, all she did was try to protect him. But Sonny would hear no more. He threw her out and told her she was nothing.

Currently, Hannah has finally gotten over desperately trying to make Sonny believe that their love was real, and she's moving on. And getting close to Taggert in the process.
Meanwhile Sonny is having problems of his own, dealing with the evil Agent Larkin who wants to set him up, and with Carly and their unborn baby, who he's recently proposed marriage to.
