The Astonishing X-Men

Word has come down from the master of Internet movie news, Harry Knowles that the next film will feature the Sentinels and a Legacy Virus storyline.

The only problem is: The Sentinels won't be the huge, methodical robots that we have all come to know and love. Rather, the current script calls for teams of human mutant-hunters. No word yet on any new characters.

Now remember, we are still only in the first stages of development and things could change. But as it is right now, Zak Penn and David Hayter have both turned in plot outlines to FOX and word is that they want to take the best of both scripts to make one.

Sounds like a recipe for disaster.
