MDG sells the worst crap out there. My first experience was in '95. I knew

almost nothing about computers but luckily had a neighbour who knew all

about that stuff. He himself thought that MDG was a good store until then. I

ordered a system. They called a week later and said the computer was ready

for pickup. So i went there with my neighbour. When we arrived at the store

we were notified that there were no monitors left, and either i would have

to wait another week, or borrow one of their shitty monitors until mine

arrived. I though-ok, i'll just do that. Well, they showed me the computer

and took later took it to the back where without my knowledge they packed

it. After they came out, with the computer in the box, i told them, that i

want to see the computer before i took it home. They finally did so after a

few minutes of arguing. I told them to plug it in and prove to me that

everything was okay. Well, they did. But guess what, there was no ram in

there. So, they went to the back and brought some ram back and started to

install it. Those "experts" were so stupid, they fried the motherboard since

the computer was on when they were installing the ram, and to my neighbour's

surprise, they also were putting it in the wrong way. Oh yeah, they also

previously told me that i would have to pay a repair fee if i took the

system out of the store, and found it not to work. Glad i checked first b4

taking it.

My second experience was this year, my computer broke down, and i needed to

get a motherboard. Since i did not want a new motherboard, and most of the

store were either selling at high prices, or just selling new motherboards,

i went to MDG. I decided that i might have just caught them in a bad day.

Well, i went there. I bought one of the motherboards and took it home. I

noticed that a part of the lever which ejects the cpu was broken, but i

thought that that's no major problem. I installed the motherboard, but to my

"surprise" i found that the motherboard was also broken, and froze very

often, or did not work at all. The next day i took it back and after an

argument, they decided to give me back my money, but then, one of the guys

there "noticed" the broken lever and refused to refund my money. He said

that he will not give me a refund because i broke the motherboard. (i knew

that the same guy saw that this was broken before i bought the motherboard.)

Finally after spending about an hour in the store i got my money back since

they had a new customer waiting. I am never going back to any of their

stores again, they are a ripoff, and nothing there is worth the risk, no

matter the price.
