pic 4Photo by N0CLX Picture 4 is a dandy. Please note the rope hanging at the side of this pole. We discovered early on in the event that we needed a vertical antenna in order to have success on the higher frequencies. Grabbing the first thing we could find in the barn near by, we loaded (of all things) a flag pole which had not yet been placed in the front yard of property owners house. You always heard of a flagpole antenna, well here it is. It really came through for us working even Hawaii.
