ABOUT THE FAMILY 

Jimmy Anthony Daanton Gumba ? Born on June 30, 1963 in the northern part of Cebu called Medellin. He is the second child of a family of seven (four brothers and three sisters). He grew up in Toledo City and finished his High School in a very exclusive school the Andres Soriano Memorial School an affiliated institution of the De La Salle Brothers and subsidized by Atlas Consolidated Mining Development Corporation. His greatest ambition in life is to finish a Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering, graduated in Cebu Institute of Technology way back 1986.

Started his working career in AFC Prawn Corporation based in Asturias, Cebu as a Materials Equipment Controller and later on transferred to AFC Agribusiness Corporation in Guimaras, Iloilo as a Warehouse Foreman where he met his wife Cecilia Teresa Ortiz Minsalan. After the Gulf War in the Middle East, he was mobilized to Kuwait as an Overseas Contract Worker and employed with an American Construction Giant the International Bechtel Corporation as Stores Administrative Assistant. After a year with the American Firm, he joined the State owned Kuwait Oil Company as Technical Assistant for Transport & Plant Department. In less than two years he was promoted to Administrative Officer to handle the Admin. Section up to this day.
