Html for the World Wide Web (Visual Quickstart Guide Series) by Elizabeth Castro Availability: This title usually ships within 24 hours.
2nd Rev Edition |
Customer Comments:
"This very informative and easy-to-read book gives readers all the major HTML codes, plus many more. Has clear, easy-to-follow, well-indexed instructions on how to do web basics: tables, frames, lists, links, etc. It uses spot-color to highlight what you should be paying attention to. Covers HTML 3.2, Netscape and Explorer extensions, and has a chapter on style sheets. It also acknowledges the differences between browsers, which is very useful. There is a great hexadecimal color chart in the back which is always a life saver. "Clearly states what can be done and why, with screen examples to back up her assertions. It's a small, inexpensive book that I've found extremely handy. This book makes HTML fun to learn. Filled with photo examples, it deserves its subtitle ("Visual Quick Start Guide"). The book is not padded out with silly cartoons, nor does it have obscure and useless charts. This book is lean and mean. Great stuff - and cheap too!" |
