I got to thinking a while back that although we had a lot of stuff for Christmas in Albia, and someone did a bunch of COBs for Halloween, no one has done anything for Easter. I mentioned it in the newgroup and several people thought it was a great idea. So I finally started learning how to program in CAOS and created a couple of Easter COBs. These can now be downloaded here to give your Norns their first Easter in Albia!

The Easter Egg COB injects 8 Easter Eggs into the garden. These appear randomly placed, and there are 8 different eggs that are randomly chosen for color. Easter Eggs are very nutritious (Starch +150 and Hunger -150) and they taste good too! (Glucose +40, Need for Pleasure -60). |

The Chocolate Egg COB injects one chocolate candy egg into the hand. These are extra tasty (Glucose +100 and Need for Pleasure -100) and they are also somewhat nutritious (Starch +40, Hunger -100). |

If anyone else has created any Easter themed COBs, send them to me and I will be happy to post them here with the rest.
And, you know, what is Easter without the Easter Bunny? So I decided to make one. In the process, I realized that Cyberlife had created the Santa 97, but didn't do a female for that type (type number 7). So I decided to turn the Santa 97 into the male half of the Holiday Norn, and the Easter Bunny Norn would be the female! All the sprites are finished, so you can have the full life cycle of the Easter Bunny Norn in your Albia. Also, the .exp file has been updated to make Bunny breed more like, well, a bunny!
Note again that the male of this variety is the Santa 97. This means that any male offspring that Bunny has will likely use some or all of the Santa 97 sprites. Male children of Bunny will NOT be bunnies -- they will be santas! If you don't have the sprites for the Santa 97, you can get them either at Cyberlife's Creatures site or at Slink's Burrow Online.

Tinkering with the Genetics Kit can be fun. While playing around with the half-lives of chemicals, I created what I call my Quick Norns. These little guys live short but happy lives (Their life span is only about 2-3 hours or so as opposed to the normal 10). The first quick norn is also a bunny -- her name is Bunbun. You can download her by clicking on the photo below.
