Bharatpur & Fatehpur Sikri

Bharatpur hosts a variety of bird species from across the globe. Over 350 species of birds belonging to 56 different families are found here. Bharatpur is a winter home of many migratory birds including Siberian crane. Siberian cranes travel a amazing distance of 6500 km to reach this place.

Siberian Crane

White pair of birds at the center are siberian crane- Highly endangered species of bird. Only one pair of siberian crane came to Bharatpur National Park in year 2000-2001.
I was too lucky to find them. Only 3 out of 12 person of our team could see them.
