3-25-98 Ok, ok. It's been a little while since I've done anything to this site. I'm sorry :-} But, being a mom, having a job (albeit, part time), working on 3-4 other sites - not including my own - and moving to a new home, can get to be a bit much for even one woman to handle. I have other plans in mind when summer comes and the kids are out of school. But until then, I must apologize for not having the time on my hands as I used to. Thanks for hangin' in there with me!

12-30-97 Hey Hey! I finally got my site back online. I'm not quite sure what happened, but this site just vanished, and my old... slow loading.. site took it's place. Well, it's all fixed (I hope). Thank goodness for backups! As I said on my index page, I have found life outside the Net... my new job is going well, but since it is still new, it takes precedence over my web site (hey, there's money involved there ;-) But, I still get letters and such, so I am not giving up on this thing yet... One of these days I'll get my own domain (my birthday's coming soon -- if you're listening, hubby dear ;-) OH! Ya'll have a happy NEW YEAR!!! Cya soon!

11-29-97 Ok, ok... so it's been a few days since I've updated. What can I say? I got a job! (Yea!) Anyways, I have added Laura's World to the WebSideStory's Top 1000 list. I don't know why.. I guess it's the old "promote, promote, promote" thing... OH, and before I forget... I am no longer a Community Leader for GeoCities because of my new job. But I can still help ya'll with your problems and/or direct you to the right folks. Maybe after things settle down a bit, I'll reapply, but until then :-(

11-4-97 I am playing around with CSS here and there. I like the way it works. Unfortunately, not everyone can see it the way I can, unless you have a browser that supports CSS. If you don't, you really need to get one. I'm not real big on IE, but Netscape Communicator 4.03 is excellent (in my opinion). I'll try not to mess things up too bad for ya'll with the older browsers :-O If there are problems with the way you see it, please let me know. The email link is at the bottom of this page.

11-3-97 I have added another area to Laura's World. LW Awards. This is where those way cool people (too much?) who have accepted my appreciation in the form of a small graphic, are listed. I've only offered them to a few webmasters, and over half have accepted. I should've done this a long time ago, so I have some catching up to do.

10-26-97 This is the first of (hopefully) many updates that I will be posting. The redesign of Laura's World is finally up, with just a few pages left to finish. I have removed the Feature of the Week because I didn't have the time any more to keep up with it. I'd like to do something similar, but that will be at a later date. I do still have the Free-for-All page up if you'd like to add yours. However, I have not changed the style or the links on that page as of yet. I will incorporate that into the menu another time as well, after I get it updated.
