I've wanted to add
a chat program and an interactive bulletin board to my site for some time now. My original
plan was to create a community of people who have like interests, and to provide a way to
for them to interact.
Since this is a free Geocities page, they do not allow a third
party chat program or bulletin boards to run on their server. However, they do offer
clubs...
So... I've started an online club of my own called Dick's
Online Web Design Club. It's not exactly what I had in mind, but it does have a Java chat
program, a message board, and some other things of value.
I'm going to try this for a while to see how it works out.
With a couple thousand visitors a week, about 300 a day, there could be someone there at
the same time that you are. If so, join in the chat, ask some of the questions that have
been bothering you about your web page, or leave a message. My hope is that someone will
give you a hand.
