This
script scrolls one letter at a time across your status bar. It's the one I used in my
basic JavaScript Tutorial Page as
an example. I found it at Javasource
and they list this homepage
as the author.
Important to note:
 | Put your message
in where it says " var msg ", |
| Look for the
part that says, "
jumpSpaces = 100-position"
, and change the one hundred to a lower number if you want it to
scroll faster. I changed it to 20 on this page so it would scroll faster. |
| Be sure to
follow the instructions written in the code to make sure you get the
different parts of the code in the right place, |
