Brazil.Dedicated to Big Projects , it was a leading company with the highest
level Professionals in the Engineering project and consulting services
in Brazil.With branches spreaded over Brazil requires a heavy data communications
environment.PROMON developed and projected from Hidroelectric Power Plants and Nuclear
Power plants to TELECOMMUNICATIONS and DATA COMMUNICATIONS networks.
When I worked there , I was in charge for the Data Communications Network and the LAN and Data Processing center in Sao Paulo.
One of The first Ethernet network in BRAZIL was settle in this office,
Linking VAX DIGITAL Computers to several workstations. It was the business
card of the company.
PROMON also interconnected in a WAN environment almost all the branches.
At that time I was in charge for a team that must keep the business up 24 hours a day,
seven days a week , 365 days a year.It was Quite Challenging !
