Juggle Saver v0.22
Juggle Saver is a 3D site-swap simulator that uses OpenGL and
can act as a Windows 95/NT screen saver. The picture below is
a frame from the actual program. These were rendered real time at around 30+
frames a second (on a 6x86 P150+).
Click to see animated version Many improvements have been made since the
first beta version was released these include:
- New Objects - Juggle Saver can now juggle with balls, rings, clubs
or a combination of all three (registered version). Click
here for a club juggling screenshot.
- Improved site swap engine -
the original site swap engine has been
rewritten to allow more complicated juggling patterns. This has
allowed predefined site pattern to be stored in a file and replayed by
the screensaver (registered version only). The distribution contains
around 25 patterns including Mills' mess for 3, 4 & 5 balls.
- Install program -
a proper install and uninstall features have been provided, I'm not sure
that this is the best way to do things. The size of the distribution
has almost reached 1 MB so I'm going to look at ways of providing
updates without having to download everything.
- Dynamic viewing -
this is a completely unneccessary feature for a screensaver but
it's great fun. While the program is running it is possible to adjust
the camera viewing position with the mouse (see online help for
details).
Download Juggle Saver (941K) and
unzip these files onto a floppy or a temporary directory and run the
setup program.
The program is still being developed, I would therefore very much appreciate any
comments or suggestions you have, email to bapps@geocities.com
