Origin

Jim's Juice was concocted on

Tuesday 26th August 1997

by

James Carr, Steven Prudames and Peter Hancock.

The concoction came about after an evening at our local pub, The Duke of Wellington, the event was Pete's birthday and after many attempts to get him drunk, Tequila Slammers and weird cocktails, we adjourned to Jim's house and after a few attempts the original Jim's Juice was born.

About a week later there was again an after-pub visit to Jim's den of drinking! This time Jim discovered the extra detail of pouring the Crème de Cassis slowly in at the end purely by accident.
