Microsoft Visual Basic Service Pack 3 |
Service Pack 3 is now available for Visual Basic Professional and Enterprise Editions and an updated version of the Control Creation Edition (CCE) is available for download. This service pack and the updated version of CCE contain support for creating apartment-model, thread-safe ActiveX Controls and DLLs that leverage IE 4.0's multi-threaded user interface. It also contains support for creating custom applications with multi-threaded and asynchronous user-interfaces, using designers like the UserConnection designer in multi-threaded components, and resolves issues with the development environment, the Printer object and the Internet Transfer control. |
