¾ cup brown sugar
¾ cup all-purpose flour
¾ cup quick oats
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon nutmeg (or allspice or cloves)
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup butter
1. Mix dry ingredients together
2. Cut in butter
3. Put on top of 2 cups of fruit in a baking dish
4. Bake uncovered at 375 °F for 35 minutes.
For raw fruit, add sugar and pre-cook it a bit.
Cut in the butter using a knife or with a pastry cutter |
