Information about IRC & Galaxynet
IRC is a software protocol that allows people from all around the world to meet and chat in real time. It has been around for quiet a few years now and software for it is widely available on the Internet. One of the best IRC client packages available is mIRC, you can find out more about IRC on its homepage.
The Galaxynet is a fairly small range of IRC servers but they are scatterd all over the world and are mentioned on a number of IRC sites.
