untitled
Ebbing, flowing 'neath the blood
Waters lurk as prey.
Serpents tangle in my mind,
And this is what they say.
"Deeper, deeper, deeper still,
As the tide flows evermore.
Deeper, muter, cannot see,
Deeper, stiller, cannot be."
Deer as wild headlights go
Flee from things untold.
What they cannot see within
Only I behold.
Light inside that cannot burn,
Darkness seeps toward death.
Fear is something words express,
Love seems just a myth.
Though they seek me,
Though they find,
What is hidden
Is divine.
Walking slowly to the end,
Cannot fail, sink or swim.
Cannot feel the burns without,
Light within will never dim.
