infrared

infrared film does not see heat - it sees the near infrared
light that we can't see that's reflected off objects.
actual heat can be recorded by placing thermal fax paper
on warm - but not too hot - objects. the fax paper is then
contact printed onto normal b&w paper and developed normally.
